JMEC applies a structured editorial and peer-review process to ensure the quality, relevance, originality, and integrity of published manuscripts.

Initial Submission

The manuscript is submitted through the OJS platform together with the required files and declarations.

Editorial Screening

The editorial team checks scope, basic formatting, completeness, originality, and suitability for further review.

Reviewer Assignment

Suitable reviewers are selected based on subject expertise and potential conflicts of interest.

Peer Review

Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, methodology, literature, argumentation, clarity, and contribution.

Editorial Decision

The editor evaluates reviewer recommendations and communicates a decision such as accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

Revision & Final Decision

Revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers. Accepted articles proceed to copyediting, production, and publication.
