Article Processing Charge

JMEC applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the editorial, peer-review, production, publication, and maintenance of the journal.

APC POLICY

Article Processing Charge Policy

Journal of Management, Education and Communication (JMEC) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of Rp500.000 (five hundred thousand Indonesian Rupiah) for each article that has been accepted for publication.

The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and has received an official acceptance decision.

Payment of the APC is not a guarantee of acceptance. Editorial decisions are based on the quality, originality, relevance, and academic merit of the submitted manuscript.

PAYMENT TIMING

When Is the APC Paid?

Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the JMEC OJS platform without an APC payment.

Peer Review

The manuscript undergoes editorial screening and peer review according to the journal's review policy.

Acceptance

If the manuscript meets the journal's requirements, the editor issues an official acceptance decision.

APC Payment

After acceptance, the author is required to pay the Article Processing Charge of Rp500.000.

Production

After payment confirmation, the accepted article proceeds to the final production and publication process.

Acceptance Is Not Based on Payment

The APC does not influence the editorial or peer-review decision. Authors are required to pay the APC only after their manuscript has been officially accepted for publication.

SUBMISSION POLICY

No Fee for Manuscript Submission

JMEC does not charge authors a fee for submitting a manuscript or for undergoing the initial editorial and peer-review process. The APC is applicable only to manuscripts that have been officially accepted and are ready for publication.

PAYMENT POLICY

Payment and Refund

Payment instructions will be provided by the editorial office after the manuscript has received an official acceptance decision.

Authors are advised to retain proof of payment and submit it according to the instructions provided by the journal.

If an accepted article cannot be published due to circumstances attributable to the journal, the editorial office will review the case and determine the appropriate resolution.
